Much like many families across the country we have lost at least half of our income, I am a hairdresser and was forced to close my doors as social distancing is not possible in my profession. Yesterday I received a text from a client that said that she would like to purchase a gift certificate not for herself but for someone who, in the future could use it. (I cannot wait to bless someone with this once I'm allowed to go back to work!) My husband was able to pick up the money from her. She had put it in a card and inside it simply said "Thank you for all that you do! Psalm 91.  I found it hard to hold back tears at this point and felt completely overwhelmed with the amount she had blessed us with. And after reading the scripture she wrote I felt at complete peace. I sat and thought about how grateful I am that God knows and cares so much about us. That specific scripture was written so very long ago and could not possibly be more accurate for where we are at this very moment. I sent my client a note to tell her how humbled and grateful I was for her. And again God gave me more peace; she said "The Lord spoke very clear to me and said he cares about you and you guys will be fine!"
Thank you Jesus for surrounding us with a family that reminds us daily how much you care. I believe that we will come out of this crazy situation stronger and closer to you than ever before!

The Father’s House may well have saved my life physically as well as spiritually.  About 3 and ½ years ago I was under great pressure and stress from outside forces, which was causing physical pain, and heart palpitations. Doctors were unable to help and could find no “physical problem”. I’d visited various churches since my divorce 20+ years ago, looking for a new home. Through social situations, I’d met Pastor Bill and Sister Helen. I asked him for help and he and others from The Father’s House included me in their prayers. Everything changed almost immediately!
The heart palpitations stopped, the pressure in my chest lifted, and I felt a hundred times better. I HAD to visit this church and hear what these people knew that was so powerful. From the first time I walked into The Father’s House, I knew this was where I was supposed to be. The joy and love just rolled over me like a warm blanket. I listened and heard what I needed for my heart, my soul, and my body. I’d found my new home, and the guidance to live my life according to God’s Word. I love my church, and the people who make it such a wonderful ministry to the community. I can’t begin to tell you the difference this has made in my life. I fully believe God led me to The Father’s House, and I will be forever grateful.
